1800MEDICARE
1800MEDICARE (1800 633 422) offers a free, 24/7 helpline where you can speak to a registered nurse about any health concern. The nurse will ask about your symptoms and guide you to the right care, whether that’s looking after yourself at home or getting help from a health service in your area. You can also access key health information, electronic prescriptions and more through the 1800MEDICARE app.
Lifeline 24-hour Counselling and Crisis Support Chat
Lifeline has trained crisis support workers available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They also offer an online Crisis Support Chat 7 days a week between 7pm to 4am AEDT.
Kids Help Line
This is a telephone, web-based and email counselling service. It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for young aged up to 25 years.
Mensline Australia
This is a telephone counselling service available 24 hours, 7 days a week, for men with relationship or family concerns.
PANDA
PANDA supports women, men and families across Australia affected by anxiety and depression during pregnancy and in the first year of parenthood. They also provide support relating to postnatal psychosis. The national helpline is available from 9am to 7.30pm Monday to Friday AEST.

Suicide Call Back Service
This is a free nationwide professional telephone and online counselling service for anyone affected by suicide, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Beyond Blue Support Service
This is a telephone counselling service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
